Catherine Creek Classic

The Catherine Creek Classic is truly a "classic". This event has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most scenic events around, and the support is truly top-notch. It is also a fast, slightly downhill course, so if you're looking for a PR, this is the race to do this summer (and every one after).

PLEASE NOTE: Race day registration fees will be an additional $5.00 per racer.SHIRTSRace shirts are also available for an additional $20 fee. (See 80s retro vibes below!) Make sure you order your shirt BEFORE THE RACE—preferably by July 20—to ensure you get one of these limited butter-soft beauties! We'll only have a few extras for sale on race day, so don't bank on getting one there.

Male/Female age groups: under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the overall winners of each race, male and female. (We're biased, but they're going to be uniquely awesome this year so...train hard.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please take the bus to the start of each race. There is no parking available at either the Half Marathon or 5K start. There is also no transportation back to the start after the race.
Water stations are located approximately every 3 miles. Carrying your own fluid is also a good idea. Though the start is usually fairly cool, the valley warms up rapidly and the second half of the race can be hot. PLEASE NOTE: We have moved the start time of the Half Marathon to 7am (previously 7:30am) to help combat the heat!
There are no bathrooms at the start of either race. However, Half Marathoners will have the chance to use the restrooms at Catherine Creek State Park on the bus trip to the start. These same restrooms are available to the Half Marathoners during the race, which is just past the 5-mile mark.
